One week today! Oh my we are so excited! With 700 women signed up for 2019’s Dare, this is set to be the best one yet.
As has become tradition, over the next 7 days we will explore a little of the meaning behind some of the songs we will be singing together on Saturday (5th October) and spend some time praying for one another as we prepare.
Today’s song is the song we will open the conference with – “Let Go” by Hillsong Young and Free.
I absolutely love this song. It’s all about God’s never-ending pursuit of us. His love and his grace are beyond anything we can comprehend and nothing can ever separate us from him, no matter how many times we mess up!
It’s about when we let go and let God – let go of having to have the answers, of having to be in control, of worry, of anxiety, of fear, and let God into every area of our lives, letting him have his way and experiencing the fullness of life that he offers each of us who put our trust in him.
God’s Heart is continually beckoning us towards his, forever pursuing us. He’s desperate for us to know him more intimately and let him lead us into the glorious promises he has for us.
This is what this song reminds us of (not to mention it’s also pretty fun to dance to as well).
So as we count down to Dare 2019 and look forward to what God is going to do, let’s remember the enormity of the goodness of God, how much he loves us, how much he desires us, and let’s surrender all that we are to him.
Amazing, incredible Father God, thank you for all that you are, all that you’ve done and all you continue to do.
We are so expectant for you to move at Dare and we ask that as we let go of everything that keeps us from experiencing you more fully that you will meet with us and lead us into all you want to do.
